frequently asked questions

Don't see your question?

Contact us and we will be happy to give you an answer!

Do you accept insurance?

No, we are private pay only, which means we are considered an out-of-network provider by insurance companies. We will be happy to provide you with a superbill or receipt for therapy with an out-of-network provider for you to file directly with your insurance. Please contact your insurance company before beginning therapy to verify your out-of-network benefits and your insurance company's requirements for submitting a superbill.

Why don't you accept insurance?

Private pay gives us the freedom to make choices together about your child's treatment plan without restrictions placed upon us by insurance companies. We do not face limitations on the duration and frequency of therapy sessions or the type of therapy provided. Your child will not need a medical referral, you have the ability to choose the provider that is right for you regardless of your insurance coverage, and your child does not need a specific diagnosis or test score to receive therapy.

What forms of payment are accepted?

We accept checks, cash, and credit cards. You may also be eligible to use flexible spending account (FSA) or health savings account (HSA) funds. Payment is due at the time of service.

What is your attendance and cancellation policy?

A 24-hour cancellation notice is required. No-shows and late cancellations will incur a fee. Please refer to our cancellation policy in your intake paperwork for more specific information.

My child didn't qualify for Early Intervention (EI) or school services, can you still work with them?

Absolutely! Because we are a private company, we do not have to follow strict federal and state guidelines to determine if your child is eligible to receive services, so we have the autonomy to decide together if your child would benefit from speech therapy. Even if your child is eligible to receive services through EI or their school, they may also benefit from additional private therapy. Contact us for more information.
